That probably is a cook wagon. Never heard of any outfit using a bunk house. My Mom was 14 and sister was 16 when they ran the cook house for their older brothers when they ran a custom threshing operation. The hired men always slept outside on top of the bundle wagon beds or under the wagon beds. All the big Bonanza farms did the same thing; no bunk house for the men. Some of the railroads did have bunk houses, but they were on the rails to be moved as the building of the tracks extended.
