I was in Fort Worth TX today, stopped to eat lunch at a restraunt across the highway from the end of the runway at what use to be Carswell air base. It is a naval air station now. As I got out of my car the ground shook and I looked up as a plane came off of the end of the slightly elevated runway I don't think I was more than a couple of hundred yards away, probably more but it didn't seem like it. The plane went totaly verticle as I tried to get my breath a second did the same thing, not slightly vertical but totaly verticle. I was looking straught up as they tuned into a small dot. It was awsome.
