Story about spy plane

It disappeared---------Wanted to show it to my son,

but it was gone. Could it be that a "higher power"

than Chris and Kim scuttled it? There was some

sensitive info there-----

My question is - What does a story like that have to do with tractors?
There are plenty of other sites out there for even more info on the subject.
I come here to learn and sometimes help others. Just sayin.

(quoted from post at 17:17:52 09/03/15) Great story. I copied it to my HD. Every real tractor enthuast dreamed of being a pilot

My junior year aptitude test said that I should be either a farmer or an aviator. My friends said I should be a crop duster.

Jim go look at the last 3 weeks of new threads on here. Count the ones that are about tractors. This would be a mighty boring forum if all we had was tractor post. You would have "how do it", "what's it worth", parades, and pulling. That's it and half the posts would be gone and along with the mostly friendly banter. Gotta remember automotive questions and old cars and trucks don't really belong here either.

I was in Fort Worth TX today, stopped to eat lunch at a restraunt across the highway from the end of the runway at what use to be Carswell air base. It is a naval air station now. As I got out of my car the ground shook and I looked up as a plane came off of the end of the slightly elevated runway I don't think I was more than a couple of hundred yards away, probably more but it didn't seem like it. The plane went totaly verticle as I tried to get my breath a second did the same thing, not slightly vertical but totaly verticle. I was looking straught up as they tuned into a small dot. It was awsome.

I got yo watch the Air Force do "emergency combat takeoff" procedures at Ramstien Air Base back in the mid 80's with F16's. What they used to call scrambling. Got to watch that from the flight line. It is a fantastic sight.

I wouldn't be on it if it wasn't for the diversity and the fact that you can get advice on any subject. I only got 4 tractors and you can only talk so much about 4 tractors and momma ain't gona let me have any more.

I used to eat at a small cafe at the end of the runway. Back when it was an Air Force base. When they scrambled the B-52s. The whole building would shake.

I checked to see if my library had a copy of the book that was from. They did not so I checked Amazon --Yowza! I don't think I'll be buying an actual hard-copy of one of those.

Good read, nonetheless.

You probably wouldn't have a dozen users here if that was adhered to. Would be a very boring forum and not worth the trouble.
