First off thank you for the reply. You are right I've had sheep for years and years now and you do learn something new every year. I rotate pastures sometimes moving critters daily and I was only worming once a year just before lambing and u was only worming lambs who were anemic and looked poor. I thought I was doing everything right yet I've managed to create super worms. I'm not naive enough to believe that all hair sheep are parasite resistant however right now their the only ones who have red eyelids. I went through and culled all the wool ewes who were still anemic and from now on I plan to only put replacements in the flock who come from ewes who show resistance. Thanks again for the sheep forum info. That's good to know as nobody in my area raises sheep so it is good to know about as many resources as possible.
