It was my eldest son's 32 nd birthday yesterday and part of what he wanted to do was a family and friends walk to a local landmark, Bennachie. We have had some real poor weather this year and this was one of the best days we have had with some nice sunshine and temperatures nearing 20 degree C which for Scotland isnt bad and we even missed rain for a day. This is a local landmark that can be accessed from various points with trails of differing levels of difficulty. The youngest person was around 30with the eldest nearing 70, we all had a great time and of course the views from the top are worth the effort. Hope you folks enjoy the scenery. Bill
