I guess I've been dead for years. I've drank at least 2 cokes or mountain dews as day for 35 years or more. Sometimes in hot weather I drink a 6 pack a day, in addition to ice tea. I can still out work most folks half my age. I probably would be healthier but there are few pleasures in life anymore so I'll continue to indulge. I may die tonight but I have no regrets. I believe genetics has as much to do with how healthy you are as what you eat or drink in moderation. My grandfather smoked all his life. Most of the time he was smoking and chewing twist tobacco at the same time. He also drank his share of Tennessee whiskey and died at the young age of 84. Up until that time he was hardly sick a day in his life. Over indulgence of anything is harmful but a moderate amount of almost anything is OK.
