lhd... Low headlight could be it! The DIM setting added a resistor circuit for the FIELD terminal, which I do not have on my generator. The FIELD is internally grounded in the genny.
I will do the continuity test if I can figure out how the light circuit was looped through the AMP meter and FUSE circuit.
This gauge assembly hasn't been used in maybe 50 years. I ripped out numerous spiced and disconnected aftermarket switches and knobs and now I am starting over. In the end it should be pretty simple.
