Can he get service for his tractor, made in America or not? Parts availability and service should factor in to the purchase. I happen to have a 950 Deere (Yanmar) and can get parts and service through the local Deere dealer. At issue is that my 950 is a 1980 and parts are getting harder to find. When I needed a flywheel, the Deere guy had to go out 3rd party and get me a used one. No problem, but new was back ordered forever and ever and ever. Keep stuff like that in mind.
