Did you ask them exactly what they did? Did you ask them if the Magneto from a 1951 Farmall Cub would do the same thing?
I think you could have gotten a magneto from an old tractor for a lot less than that hospital visit!
I think you should ask for a redo, don't pay the bill, and then brag to the wife that you used a tractor part to keep her ticker tickin!
That will stop any problems when it comes to tractors being an obsessive hobby!
I hope you are both doing well, but, honestly, I think you could have done this at home, if you just had an old magneto and some mesh copper to make a shirt made of heart healthy conductive material. I bet it would be fun!
