I never said they can do no wrong. I said they get blamed for stuff they don't do around here. That's exactly what I said. And it is a form of bigotry. You see it real often here. Lately it's that the Amsh are buying up "all the good farms"- the run down, tiny acreages that no one has farmed in 40 years. Before that it was that "they take all the good jobs"! From who? No one saying that ever worked like the Amish do and most were on welfare. The Amish are an easy target simply because they don't fight back. They are just people,just like you and me.
As far as the roads, you can't get more than a couple tons in a wagon, even if you load rock and no one here loads wagons with rock.. How does a 6 or 8" wheel tear up the road like an articulated tractor turning in and out of the same fields every day? It doesn't. Maybe in other parts of the nation it can happen, maybe. But I know the BTOs tear up the roads and no one says a word. Take the blinders off and see whats really happening.
