Too soon to tell if it will be a good corn year. I suggest that you wait until another month goes by before writing your crop off. I planted most of my corn in early to mid-May and it looked awful when it first sprouted. Some came up in less than a week and some in the same field didn't sprout for 3 weeks. I was thinking about replanting when the rains finally came. Now that corn has filled in nicely and is over 5 feet tall and a real dark green. Of course it is a long way from the planter to the grain elevator and a lot can happen to your crop in between
