Problem? The horsey guy that bought the whole field and who has been buying from me for years and who has been calling all weekend asking when he could come pick it up sent a text saying he did not want the hay. Since he has been buying off this field for several years, we did not offer it to anyone else. Don't even have enough wagons on this side of the county to haul it in...so I guess I get to bring some over tomorrow. Only three of us here to load it. Ought to be a fun day tomorrow. Happens every few years. You just cannot rely on these horse people. They expect you to cut the hay on their schedule and they want the price low but they don't hold up their end and then wonder why they have to pay a premium for extra handling. But that is the way it is going to be from now on. No more picking up your own hay for a discount on the field. You come to the barn and buy it off the rack for top $$$ or take your chances at the auctions. Rant over.
