We bought a used Yamaha G1 back when my Grandpa was still with us- but could no longer climb onto his MI to head into the vineyard. Built a box on the back, it is handy as all get out. Engine did not like running in the dust, ate the rings up, plugged air filter helped destroy the crank seals. Short block later it runs great!
Just the other day it ceased starting- YouTube told me it was starter/generator brushes. Mine looked okay, but what the heck, for like $12 I ordered a set. Put them in tonight, now the starter solenoids don't even clunk like they did before pulling the starter. just dead, even with a good battery. Any guesses?
