I think the CDI box went bad on my old Yamaha Moto 4. Went to the dealer,a new one can be had for the low,low price of $466. That's about 400 more than the 4 wheeler's worth. I was checking online,found one for $55,but this was in the fine print when I read it all.
"This is test service fee. If you are in the USA. We will send you a shipping label to send in your cdi for repair.
If the cdi unit tests bad there will be an additional charge for $165"
They're just being WAY too generous. I wonder how many people get nicked on that one?
