Ok! Tonight I went to help a neighbor rebuild his international 656 diesel! Neither one of us are engine rebuilders at all but hey you gotta learn somehow! So we put the new main bearings in which the old ones were standard and the new ones are standard! Put them all in tried to roll the crank over couldn't even with a small pry bar loosened all but one bearing still couldn't turn it at the torque spec the bok called for think it was 90 Pounds! So loosened the last one rolled over of course so I took half of a old bearing put it in tightened it rolled over fine! Could they have gave us the wrong size bearings but marked them as standard? Cause I think it should roll over kinda snug with new bearings we did put white litheum grease on the new bearings!
