If the crank has been ground undersize and you put standard bearings in. The crank would be too loose, not too tight. Make sure the caps are all in the right place and turned the right way. Make sure you didn't get a piece of dirt under a bearing. Snug the caps all down and turn the crank. Torque each bearing one at a time an see which one is locking it up. Check the wear pattern on the old bearings. See if copper is showing on some and not the others, The block may need to be line bored. I build engines for a living. Any more questions?
