I have one and have pulled a LOT of HEAVY loads with it. Yes, it is not the most powerful truck around, and I could not go very fast with the most heavy loads, but it pulled them. The transmission finally gave out, but I personally put almost 100K miles on it with an unknown number of miles on it before that. I did have to replace the electronic "black box" on the injection pump twice and the water pump once, but before the transmission finally wore out it actually gave me less trouble than my current '95 Dodge Cummins..
