Well JD came out with the plateless units on the 1240 planters. That would have been around 1969-70??? Then the JD 7000 came out in 74-75 IRC. The IH cyclone came out in the mid 1970s as well. White brought out their air planters in the mid to late 1970s as well. AC had the 333 one of the first notil planters I ever seen.
