1966 was the first year for the square tail lights- I think that is the "glacier blue". My buddy got a 69 Impala from his uncle in SD, Dover White over Glacier Blue, 327. That was the first in a string got Impalas the two of us owned- 69,66,70,73,74 then new models as well. When he spun a bearing on the 69 down in Tulsa at welding school, I drove my 70 down and towed him back- those two cars hitched together, same length as the standard 18 wheeler. fun weekend trip
