OT Small but a real challenge

I am a carpenter for Kohlls Pharmacy in Omaha. They have a division that does home modifications so handicapped/elderly can stay in their homes! I was asked to build this gate at the top of a stairs because the husband had fallen down the stairs three times, once taking his wife with him! Built it last week in the evenings, installed it Tuesday morning. Boss tells me 'someone' will go back and stain it in place-kinda hope its not me, as that is something I don't like doing...!

Some details, if interested. Made a router jig to connect the top rail to the end verticals

Spaced out the balusters, screwed and glued them to try to keep it square, then filled the gaps

Turned out to be a real challenge!
