If you plan on relocating do not bring them near me! I HATE raccoon! I would do my best to whoop anybody relocating them on our place! :wink:
My daughters and I trapped coon in season and PB was the best bait we found. Like Eric says, sweet corn a week before pickin time. lol I have had coons devastate young chickens in the barn before. Then the nasty buggers poop everywhere!
I am glad that fur prices have come back up some!
I have no qualms about leg traps either. We do check thjem frequently and dispatch the quarry as quickly and humanely as possible.
