I have a diesel 1755 Oliver. When I got it the battery it had was the kind of thing I would find on my F-150. I just went with it and now that thing is done for. My manual says I need two of those big 6 volt batteries, they cost about $95 each at Tractor Supply. Do I need those or could I just get one of those commercial 12 volt batteries? I guess I am planning on getting the 6 volts but my charger is only for 12 volt batteries and I don't want to have to get another one of those.
