Early on I was getting the old tractors, replacing seals, rebuilding the engines, replacing gears and finishing them up with the museum grade paint job on them. I hated to even uncover them for exercise for fear of a scratch or dirt. No more repaints for me!
Now I do the mechanical work to get them in top running condition and use them as they should be. I like the old girls much better now that I don't worry about the looks.
