Don't feel bad Jon I need to be doing that when I hit my next vacation. I have never really seen it here until the past couple years myself. Thinking of using a small electric pressure washer making sure I go down from top to bottom with the bleach in it. Hopefully it will help it from coming back. I think mine comes mostly from a big water oak tree in my yard. Sadly it's the only shade tree I have so I won't be trimming it back unless I absolutely have to.
