I have NO problem paying enough taxes to support the fire department or local law enforcement. I DO have a problem with paying taxes so a new, central air conditioning system can be installed in a school which doesn't even need it except for maybe two days out of the year, and wouldn't need it at all if school didn't start until labor day. That school, because of diminishing student enrollment, will probably be closed in 10 years or less.
