just use a angle grinder and sharpen them on the hog, block it up first! on most of them that big bolt that holds the blade on is a press fit, it wont just drop out when you remove the nut, it will come out, but your probably in for a fight to do it, the other thing is what are you using the brush hog on? for grass i sharpen the blades up like a lawn mower so it gives a smoother cut, but if your using it in brush and saplings, you want a less sharp edge in order to shatter the ends of the tree trunks ect and discourage regrowth, i have to cut both kinds of areas, and used to keep 2 sets of blades, which was a pain, i happened on to a used brush hog at a cheap price,so i got lucky and have 1 set up each way now
