I'll expand my thought also to say that, when this bear returns and mauls someone in the dark, the local game gestapo will come out and shoot...not only the bear in question, but every bear in ten miles. I just don't believe we are being a friend to wildlife when we befriend wildlife. Better for them if they hate and fear us.
