Sub-compacts are a lot more than glorified lawn
mowers. If you look at the weight of these
machines you'll find it to be pretty much the
same as equal-power compacts which makes sense
since many of the components are the same. For
example, my GC2300 weighs nearly 1400 lbs which
is only about a hundred pounds less than a MF
1225 (a regular-sized, 23hp compact). The
smaller tires will of course limit the traction
compared to a compact but you'd be surprised at
what these tractors can do.
