Wish I could remember the name brand of the battery I bought at the local Co-op back about 2000. IT is a big six volt, really a diesel battery, and I have only used it on the Cockshutt 40. No special treatment as far as charging or removal. It still starts fine cold but hot starts are pretty weak. Got a pair of 14 year old CIH batteries on the Magnum tractor and a pair of "Workaholics?" on a CIH combine that are also 14 years old and worked fine last fall. Will see how they start this spring I guess.
