the crock of turnip kraut,,,it took awhile I think because it is cold in the garage/ basement It never freezes,but does get cold here it is,I took the loose bag that was covering it off,a plate was on top with a jug of water for weight on top of that. Im gonna spoon some out,take it upstairs ,and cook it with some apple,carraway seed ,and a piece of pork let it simmer slow for a while till the pork is tender and give it a try,,,,,,its really not too bad,,,,cabbage kraut is better,,but this is better than you might expect,,,I would do it again next fall,,so,,,that concludes yet another Turnip trail run,,,,
