Since I can't do anything outside and sold the cows last year, field is a mudhole, all the equipment has been fixed, I decided to build plastic models of military airplanes.
I select the ones that have a historical value to me and while building them pay particular attention to the way each type of aircraft was designed. Then to top it off I can get on www while building and Wikipedia usually has a detailed history of each aircraft which really puts reality into my hobby. Lots of fun and even though they get some pretty good bucks for some models, it's cheaper than rebuilding old tractors like I used to do.....and I'm in the house where it's warm and SHE CAN KEEP TABS ON ME.....GRIN.
