I'm looking at about 30 acres of orchard to clear. I can't really find any outside service that I can estimate the cost. The trees are mainly apple and not really huge...maybe 4"-12". Some guys say to do it myself with a backhoe while others indicate hiring an excavator or dozer. Time is not a real factor with me but want it done right. Has any one had experience with this. Thanks a lot. (Doing my planning on a frigid day)
