Yeah I ran Numbers on my John deere few days ago it was in the 50245 range on production which I think is the 1st year John Deere Made them in 52" with the 1st run of power steering.? Anyways back to the oil thing..... Yeah I did place an order for a Book at davenport "johnDeereCo." yesterday afternoon. The guy that I bought it from said he had no clue when the last time the oil had been changed? So..... That's my big big worry on the whole deal. I want to make sure put right stuff in there and not damage anything.
