Attended a seminar today at the local college, looks like anyone farming with a gross income of $25,000 or more per year will be required to be GAP or Government certified to produce certain crops and sell them. Direct and indirect irrigation is another topic requiring water use logs and water samples. Get certified each year or get fined, and not be able to sell your crops. I guess it all comes down to traceability and too many people getting food poisoning in this country.
