Plugged into Google News just now and had to share this:
Seems a county in Wyoming of all places got a new sheriff. Told a deputy of 40 years that he had to dump his cowboy hat and other attire and dress more professionally. He quit!
Now you don't suppose that the new sheriff was a youngster right out of college and sheriff's prep school. You don't suppose the deputy told the new sheriff just how "things are done around here..........SONNY!" You don't suppose the new sheriff felt that this old "GEEZER" had to go. You don't suppose the new sheriff was smart enough to figure out that being in Wyoming of all places and on the job that long that he was going to shed his cowboy hat and spurs. You don't suppose that he was also smart enough to figure out that this was the easiest way to get rid of him.
On all counts.......................NAW, ya think? LMAO
