The Single front really is not that much of an issue.But they are easy to swap fronts on.Single/'tricicle'/wides are plentiful.And A WIDE range of years will fit.A 2pt fast hitch was not 'standard' on any M/SM/SMTA.The SMTA had 'bosses' cast on to the back for later installation of a 400 fast hitch.You say it "needs tires",So does the JD 'A'.That's a 'draw' on that issue.If it runs good,everything checks out,Go for it!
