I was once behind a Werner truck on the Interstate. This guy was all over both driving lanes. When I finally saw a chance to shoot past him, I glanced up and noticed he had a laptop propped on the steering wheel.
Another time I was driving down a four lane city street with a 45 mph speed limit. A Werner truck blew past me like I was standing still, and then proceeded to weave back and forth across both lanes with nary a use of turn signals.
Still another time I was on a four lane behind a Werner truck. We were approaching a scale where trucks entered from the left lane. The truck hit the left lane and began to slow to enter the scale. I began to ease past him in the right lane. When the driver saw the scales were closed, he swapped back right into me in the right lane and ran me clear off into the ditch. Fortunately, the ditch was wide and clear.
And a sign on the back of their trailers proclaims, "We Only Hire Safe And Courteous Drivers". Yeah, right.
