Several years ago we took the kids here when we were on vacation. I remember two things about it. The first was how bad it smelled! Reminded me of cleaning out the chicken houses when I was a kid. The second was I decided to hold my nose and take a picture of one of the seals. Even though I was on a public beach I guess they have all the rights. A local started screaming at me that I was disturbing the seals and how I didn't respect nature, etc etc. been back to California a couple of times since but not there again!!
