OK so the front flat plate is just a dry cover. It was leaking a lot, so a seal up in there is letting trans fluid into that area. I don't have the front pump and have probably been way over filling the tranny. Could that cause the seal to fail? Blowing about 25 mph here now with stronger gusts, snow coming in sideways. I will wait a bit to crawl back under this thing.
