Hi all, I have a 1967 IH 424 that is leaking trans fluid. the plate on the bottom is the problem. (poor design it looks like) I have new gasket material and plan to replace it, but am not sure how much fluid I will be dealing with. My book says either 3 gallons or 17 if I have a front mounted pump. This tractor has power steering and is plumbed to run (slowly) a three point splitter. is the PS pump what they mean? I would like to catch and reuse as much of the fluid as I can, but want to be ready for the amount. Thanks for any help
