I just bought repair parts for my Maytag ref. and the gal on the phone said that Whirlpool was making my brand and a lot of others. She was located somewhere up in the mid west, forgot where but it doesn't matter, it's here.

Added thought. Surely most of you remember why Henry Ford paid his workers a stellar $5 per day to build his Tees. If you forgot it was so that they had enough money to live AND buy one of his vehicles. Obviously the employment office had a line a mile long. Others had to follow suit. I read his book, the one with the picture of the blue 49 Ford on the cover. Made some interesting reading. He was an interesting person.....will leave it at that.
