Probably your NH dealer can sell Mahindra for less because his factory invoice is less. My understanding is that dealers that carry both NH and Kubota often sell quite a bit more Kubota because the dealer cost is less. I remember back before the 1980's mergers that dealers who carried both NH and Gehl often made the sale based on the lower factory invoice. Which is to say one month they might be pushing a Gehl grinder mixer and maybe a few months later they are pushing a NH. I remember both IH and Deere salesmen say that their dealer often picked up a sideline not because the major did not offer a given product but the shortliner allowed a given dealer to be more competitive on price.
