Almost everyone has heard the joke or seen the scene in the show where a guy walks into a bar frequented by cops and tries to hold it up. That actually happened at a little bar near Columbia Mo. A friend of mine (chief deputy for our county) along with several law enforcement members from around the state were at some training classes in Jefferson City and one evening went up to a little bar to relax, and while they were sitting around talking a guy walks in and announces a hold up. Walt said the sound of "leather breaking" a term for holsters being unsnapped and guns drawn, was almost deafening in there.
