I know a man and his wife that go out to Nevada every year to a Cowboy shoot event. The last one he and his wife both placed high in the points.
I personally have no problem with open or concealed carry. I know some people get nervous but I think that is mostly just being unfamiliar with guns and not being taught gun safety. Most of those same people wouldn't think twice about being next to someone with a hammer in his belt but used improperly they can be deadly too.
