All red foxes are in demand, particularly the heavy/semi-heavy, better quality pelts that can be used by the trimming trade. Flatter sections will also be in good demand at adjusted price levels. The thin, light weight leather of the red fox makes it attractive as a trim item, however, it also damages easily and once damaged it cannot be used for trimming, consequently the heavily discounted price for damaged pelts. All other foxes, such as grey fox, etc., should see similar demand and prices levels, as last season."
