I do see what you are saying and agree, a lot of the round up ready products are dollars and cents from a production stand point. Part of the problem that is going to follow down the road, with grain prices as low as they are, some people wanting to go back to using conventional seed for next year. How can a person justify paying nearly $300 or more for a bag of seed when the price after harvest isn't there. If there is no conventional seed companies left or the control of what you can buy is in the hands of a few, there will be another choice in farming gone. You are right, the truth is somewhere in the middle. Ive even seen Del Monte dog food lol.....Makes me think twice about eating my vegetables ;)
