Been watching a program called Food Inc. It is about how companies and corporations control food, some from seed to supermarket, and yes Monsanto was one of them. Makes a persons blood boil. One thing that was stated in 1996 2% of soybeans were round up ready. In less than 10 years later over 90%. One person who had a seed cleaning business had to give up from pressure from Monsanto as they had a list of all his customers and bank records from the last 10 years, plus a list of farmers who planted their seed and conventional seed. One farmer that planted conventional seed was not allowed to purchase Monsanto products. Too much power in the hands of so few. One of the things the program mentioned about the food industry is how it manipulates the consumer on what you buy. It is based on three things...fat, salt and sugar...all the things that taste good lol. I wonder what is going to happen if and when they control your garden.... Where is the world going to end up? Some technology is a blessing but may end up being a curse.
