I got all green. 2 problems I guessed at and won the toss: Mercury in the 52-54 which year model. Hard call but made it other 2 years 51 and 55 were well known.
Chrysler and DeSoto really thought about this one and took my answers off the Desoto front end (couldn't see the hood ornament to use it which was a replica of DeSoto himself). As I recalled the DeSoto had all the fancy chrome and finishing touches and that won it for me.
Course for the most part I was of the age that cars were the thing and anybody who was anybody had to be able to sight recognize model and year. Working in a gas station some of those years, while not in school, for 50c/hr helped too.
Reminded me of the 56 and 57 Chevy gas tank access. First time I saw both models I couldn't figure out where they hid the filler. Don't remember the wherewithall but I do remember it was a challenge.
