I don't know how Wi tax system works but here a portion of real estate taxes get used for road grading snow removal and road repair if you farm more you are paying more in taxes. If you rent the ground the owner is paying the taxes but he is collecting the rent to do so. the county collects the tax and a certain percent goes to the townships.
