Around here some are getting $100 an acre, but that's rare. It also doesn't last as the soil can't support that price. The BTOs are stealing land from folks, loosing their butts, and then ditching the owner. In the process the owner has made everyone that would have been interested mad so he's hung with his land. I think I will lose 30 acres just this way. He says that he's had multiple offers for $90 an acre. Those offers are from folks that can't seem to see that the top half of the field won't raise a decent plant to save its life.
I prefer to do a 66/33 split with bills and profits included. It seems to work for us.
